PrintSmith 3D Custom Work Terms and Conditions
By submitting a custom order with PrintSmith 3D, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Order Approval:
All custom orders are subject to approval. Upon receipt of your order form, we will review the details and send you a quote, including pricing and estimated delivery times. Production will not begin until the quote is approved and payment is made (or a deposit, if applicable).
2. Payment Terms:
A minimum deposit of 50% is required for all custom orders unless otherwise agreed upon. Full payment is required before shipping or delivery of completed products. Custom products are non-refundable once production has begun.
3. Proofing Process:
Digital proofs will be provided for approval before production. It is the customer’s responsibility to thoroughly review all details, including but not limited to spelling, colors, design layout, dimensions, and material choices. By approving the proof, you agree to all specifications. Any errors found after production has begun are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Production Time:
Standard production time varies based on the complexity of the order and material availability. Specific timelines will be provided in the quote. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee, subject to material availability and production capacity.
5. Changes to Orders:
Any changes to the order after approval (e.g., design changes, material changes, quantity changes) may result in additional fees and extended production times. We will notify you of any additional costs before proceeding with the changes.
6. Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made in writing. If an order is canceled after production has begun, you will be responsible for any work or materials already completed or purchased. Deposits are non-refundable once production has started.
7. Intellectual Property:
The customer warrants that they have the legal right to use any logos, designs, or other materials provided to PrintSmith 3D for the production of custom products. PrintSmith 3D is not responsible for verifying copyright or trademark ownership and will not be held liable for any claims of infringement.
8. Warranty and Liability:
We stand by the quality of our work. However, due to the nature of custom products, slight variations in color, size, and material may occur. These variations are not considered defects. Any defects in workmanship must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the product, and we will work with you to resolve any issues.
9. Shipping and Delivery:
Shipping costs will be included in the final invoice unless otherwise specified. Once products are shipped, PrintSmith 3D is not responsible for delays or damage caused by the shipping carrier. Shipping times vary depending on the destination, and tracking information will be provided where applicable.
10. Customer Responsibilities:
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information on the order form, including specifications, artwork, and shipping details. PrintSmith 3D is not responsible for delays or errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
11. Force Majeure:
PrintSmith 3D will not be held liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, labor disputes, government actions, or supplier delays.
12. Confidentiality:
Any sensitive information provided to PrintSmith 3D during the custom order process will be kept confidential and only used for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
13. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Iowa. Any disputes arising from custom orders will be resolved under Iowa state law.
By placing a custom order with PrintSmith 3D, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
